About The Manufacturer
The rugs we sell are proudly handmade in India to ISO standards. Our manufacturing partners carry a wide array of certifications including Goodweave, Woolmark, Care & Fair, ISO and Sedex.

Care
- Vacuum regularly in one direction (not back and forth) and do not use a rotating head on the vacuum.
- Rotate your rug occasionally to avoid uneven fading or wear
- Spot clean spills using a damp undyed cloth.
- Do not dry clean or use any harsh cleaning chemicals.
- For larger stains professional cleaning is recommended

Sizing
Our rugs are handmade and while all effort is made to ensure they are the stated size, a 4% variation is possible.

Pop-ups
Short fibre pop-up will occur with hand woven rugs, particularly when the rug is new. Simply trim these with regular scissors.

Colour
As our rugs are made primarily from natural fibres, some colour variation can be expected. To safeguard against fading it's best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

We are happy to offer a refund or credit note for most items purchased on this website. Full priced items are eligible for a refund or credit note. Discounted items are eligible for a credit note.

Absolutely thrilled!

I spent over six months looking for the right rug for our lounge room. So glad I waited until I found this one! The quality is incredible, the colours are gorgeous and it works perfectly in the space. We have a dark grey couch and it matches so well with the dark flecks in the rug. Shipping was fast and I couldn't be happier! Thank you - I would purchase from Milk and Sugar again.
